

Goals and Objectives of the Center
The main goals of the North Central Center are:
- To provide leadership in and coordination of risk management education activities for producers in the 12 North Central states.
- To contribute to and enhance the national risk management education program.
To accomplish these goals the Center will incorporate the following objectives:
Goal 1:
- Assessing the risk management educational needs and priorities of producers.
- Conducting a competitive grants program which addresses these needs.
- Enhancing collaboration and partnering within the region.
- Disseminating information on risk management programs, materials and educational techniques.
Goal 2:
- Participating in national conferences and meetings.
- Recruiting the project directors of North Central projects to present the results of their work at international, national and regional conferences.
- Assisting in the production of national reports and informational documents on the national risk management education program.
- Enhancing the knowledge of the program and the understanding of its impact by stakeholders including university administrators, elected officials and farm organizations.
