Established in 2001, the North Central Risk Management Education Center funds results-based, producer-focused, competitive grants with funding from the USDA Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service (CSREES). Located at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, our mission is to empower the strengths and skills of individuals in the North Central region who are involved in the management of agricultural production, marketing, financial, legal, and human resource risks
Serving the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin; the Center provides funding annually for individual programs which directly benefit the agricultural producer through a competitive application process.
